Leonhard Satria Suharjo

I'm Leonhard Satria Suharjo, a Data Analysis student in my second year at the University of Messina, Italy, originally from Jakarta, Indonesia. My coursework sits at the intersection of statistics, databases, and software engineering — and I've been building personal projects since long before I started the degree.

Most of what I make sits at the edge between data and software. I've built AI agent systems in Python, backend web applications with PHP and MySQL, a military logistics dashboard, and most recently PRICEPULSE — a procurement risk monitor that connects real commodity price APIs to an IBM watsonx.ai reasoning layer. I work across the full stack, but I'm most at home when there's a database involved and a real problem to solve.

My background gives me a perspective most data students don't have: I grew up watching a manufacturing business operate in the real world. That context shapes what I build. I'm drawn to industrial data problems — the kind where physical machines produce signals, and software has to make sense of them. I believe the most interesting space right now is where IoT hardware meets intelligent data pipelines.

I learn by shipping things. My certifications — from Google-Kaggle's AI Agents Intensive to Palantir Foundry's deep-dive courses — exist because I finished them while building something real alongside them, not just to collect the badge. I write about what I learn on Medium, because explaining a concept in plain language is how I know I actually understand it.

I'm currently open to collaborations, internship opportunities, and interesting problems — particularly in data engineering, industrial AI, or backend systems. If you're working on something at the intersection of physical-world data and intelligent software, I'd genuinely like to hear about it.
