This temple is located in Magelang, Central Java. It was built in the 9th century,
restored in 1911 and designated and 1991. Besides being the world’s largest Buddhist temple,
this temple is also a worship place for Buddhist people from Indonesia and other countries.
The Prambanan temple is the biggest Hindu temple in Indonesia with a complex area of
39.8 hectares, Besides being one of UNESCO’s world heritage, this temple site is also a
pilgrimage site for many Hindu people
